Tantalum F560 Round Metal Bars

One of the main uses of tantalum is the production of electronic components. The oxide layer formed on the surface of tantalum serves as an insulating (dielectric) layer. Since tantalum can be used to coat other metals with an extremely thin layer, high capacitance can be achieved in a small volume. Tantalum capacitors are therefore attractive for portable electronics such as cell phones.

Tantalum alloy rods have a melting point of 2996 degrees Celsius and have excellent corrosion resistance in most acids. Our Tantalum products can be easily processed at room temperature and have a very high thermal conductivity. These unique properties make them essential for certain applications, so their high cost is worthwhile. We can also provide products in different sizes and shapes as per customer requirements.
